→ PLURINATIONAL CRAFT COUNCIL
The Plurinational Craft Council was conceived with the support of the Lois Roth Foundation with the aim to generate conversation and exchange between and within the indigenous nations of Ecuador. During this two-day multinational event, hosted in Siekoya Remolino, artisans and craftspeople from all across Ecuador conducted workshops where they shared their craft practices and traditional knowledge.
This event focused on skill-building lectures, collaborative discussions, and opportunities to network. Including: a workshop from Keñao - a women’s entrepreneurial ceramic collective, a biological tour of the Siekoya territory, conversations with local sustainable chocolate business The Cacao Spirit along with Fundación Nukamp.
